13 While you were doing all these things, declares the Lord, I spoke(A) to you again and again,(B) but you did not listen;(C) I called(D) you, but you did not answer.(E) 14 Therefore, what I did to Shiloh(F) I will now do to the house that bears my Name,(G) the temple(H) you trust in, the place I gave to you and your ancestors. 15 I will thrust you from my presence,(I) just as I did all your fellow Israelites, the people of Ephraim.’(J)

Perhaps they will listen and each will turn(E) from their evil ways. Then I will relent(F) and not inflict on them the disaster I was planning because of the evil they have done. Say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says: If you do not listen(G) to me and follow my law,(H) which I have set before you, and if you do not listen to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I have sent to you again and again (though you have not listened(I)), then I will make this house like Shiloh(J) and this city a curse[a](K) among all the nations of the earth.’”

The priests, the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speak these words in the house of the Lord.
